NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION FOR 2026: Videos and free material

Every year, millions of people ring in the New Year by reflecting on their lives and setting goals for what they want to change, improve, or accomplish. Below, you’ll find a selection of videos you can use in class with different levels.

Wishing you a year full of progress — and the satisfaction of achieving your resolutions!

1. A cartoon video in which a cat guides students to guess his owners’ New Year’s resolutions. You can use it with lower-level groups or classes that need scaffolding.



2. A cartoon video in which two friends talk about their New Year’s resolutions. You can play it in class and ask your students to role-play the dialogue.
